African Cultural Festival 2007

The African Cultural Center is having its first annual African Cultural Festival, to be held in August, 2007.

This two-day festival will start with an educational panel discussion on diversity/inclusion in our community. This will be an opportunity for everyone-business, non-profit organizations, families and students-to come together as one community to discuss various issues of diversity.

Day-two of the festival will be mainly an outdoor event, celebrating various aspects of African art and culture, featuring a variety of musical, dance and cultural performances; food, clothing and craft vendors; and art exhibits.

The ACC Gallery will be open to the public as part of this cultural event. The ACC is presenting the Festival to further promote African Art and Culture, and to celebrate the rich ethnic and cultural diversity of our community and its surrounding communities.

African Cultural Festival 2008

Our plan is to invite several African artists for a US tour that will present a complete "Window to Africa" telling the story of our PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE.
